How To Write An Ebook In Under Seven Days

If you can write text using your keyboard and you know about the topic you want to write about you can create your own high quality ebook within a matter of days if you follow a simple step by step plan which you can implement immediately.

Its important to know that while you can write an ebook very quickly you will need to be focused and determined if you want to get the job done as fast as possible. If you are not prepared to put in the necessary effort or you are easily distracted you will find it hard to write a complete ebook within seven days, but if you are prepared to work hard and dedicate yourself to the task its definitely possible.

The most important part is deciding what you want to write about because if there is no demand for the information you will not make any sales so its essential to research potential topics and find out what the market wants. The easiest way to do this is to visit popular forums and ask people what they want to learn more about (you can also monitor what people are talking about and what the hot topics are).

If you have an opt in list you can also ask your subscribers what they want to learn more about and use the feedback to get ideas for potential ebook topics. To make sure that the information will sell its always a good idea to check out your competition in the search engines by searching for related keywords. If there are many different products available in the free listings and the pay per click listings its a sure sign that there is money to be made from this type of information.

Once you know what you want to write about the first thing you will need to do is create an outline for the ebook by listing the chapters and sub headings that will be covered. You can also list bullet points for each sub heading to help break up the content and make it easier to write. This is the most important step because it will give you a clear direction and help you focus on what you need to write about.

After you have listed the chapters its just a case of writing a few pages for each sub heading by including as much relevant information as you can. If you are writing about a topic which you don't know much about you will have to do some research by looking for related information in the search engines. This will slow you down but if you are good at researching and can grasp what the topic is about you should be able to condense the information and write it using your own words.

If you already have a good knowledge of the topic you should be able to write 30 to 40 pages of content within a matter of days. Once you have written the content you can add links to related websites or products you are promoting as an affiliate to earn backend commissions and you can also add images and screenshots if needed (you will need to use a software application such as Snag It if you want to take screenshots).

After you have finished writing the content of your ebook you just need to read through it and check for spelling mistakes, then you can convert it into a PDF file ready for sale. The last thing you will need to do is create the sales letter for the ebook which will be used to sell it and generate sales.
