The 21st century is an advent of technological advances, the blooming point of the internet and the end of an unconnected world. It was a phase where people have fully realized the full capability of the internet. But as what other human beings are destined to do, it was maltreated, consumed and destroyed up to the point of breakage.
Fortunately the foundations of this network of networks are strong enough to withhold this turmoil. Luckily there were some people who are passionate to bring back is goodness and offer the next generation a cyber world which we can just imagine before.
June 1st was a historical mark for some internet savvy and business minded Filipino's. It was the start of a contest that aims to push forward the talent of Filipinos to the IT world. It aims to change the portrayal of Filipinos regarding the Internet. It was the start of a full appreciation on how the internet can help us in our rise from poverty.
Most of us Filipinos see the internet as a portal for gaming, chat, sex, love hunting and the never ending networking of friends. Only a small amount of Filipino internet users sees this network as a niche for business and money making. For me this is a very sad scenario, the inventiveness and skills of Filipino seems to be lost with this kind of situation.
The internet is full of potential for money making, this network can be a tool for us to exit our lives of poverty and I am very lucky to be one of those Filipinos to fully realize this.
With the start of the
Isulong seoph contest hopefully Filipinos will be able to fully realize the great prospective of the internet as a portal for business. Hopefully they will be able to realize that this system is a tool for fighting poverty not just a plaything for their carnal desires.
Isulong Seoph brings forth and highlights the Filipino ingenuity towards living and survival. It is a start of an ambition that if fully realized and if in indisputably planned can catapult Filipinos to the realms of success.
