Making It as a Newbie in Internet Marketing.

Numberless emails and websites have shouted at us from our monitors for years, about how to make "mountains" of

money on autopilot on the Wold Wide Web. I think those of us who have been spending millions of dollars through the

years on so-called miracle business methods have given up hope, and gone to look for making our day to day bread in

different off-line ways. I know very well how hard I've tried, and failed, to make a dime from Internet Marketing.

Yet, as I view this matter today, the crowds turning to make a living from the internet has just become larger and

larger. Is there really a way to make your living and greatly increase your standard of living from Internet

marketing? In short, I would state an emphatic "YES"!

But, I have to temper this with a caution. There is no lasting "Get Rich Quick" system to make a living, whatever

the "Guru's" would have us believe. The secret is to start out small, and build up a business steadily and

methodically. If you've been around in Internet Marketing a while and you're dissatisfied with your results, this is

a way to start seeing the reward you've wanted for so long.

Since the internet has been around with us for 15 plus years now, we have the advantage of hindsight to review the

most successful ways to tame and harvest the Internet. The market is now more mature and very selective, and this is

where today's astute online marketer will find their sales and livelihood.

Now, let's quickly in a nutshell look at the most productive ways of making good money from the internet without

resorting to illegal methods like SPAM. This review in no way covers everything, that would be beyond the paramters

of this article. It's merely a way to set your imagination to work - the research will be up to you.

1) Affiliate Marketing - This offers a very easy way to ease into the Cyber Sea. You don't have to create your own

product, you only have to market and sell the products of your Affiliate. There are pitfalls here to beware of too.

Some products are more in demand than others, so as always, do your homework before you hitch your wagon to your

Affiliate's star. If you find the right product though, the sky is the limit.

2) Niche Marketing - There are thousands of people out on the Net looking for something very specialised and scarce.

There are ways to find these people, and once you can supply their need, they will return to you time and again.

3) Selling your own product - Have you written a novel and can't get it published? Do you make toys as a hobby and

want to sell them? Here is your opportunity. All you need is a small website and a way to collect the money. Hosting

can be as inexpensive as a free blog, and there are several card processing sites that are free or very inexpensive.

4) Taking Surveys- there are many companies who need feedback on how thier consumers find their products and would

also like to know how they could improve the product or service levels. Here is a money making opportunity as they

pay individuals to give them feedback by way of surveys. This will not make you filthy rich, but can be a stepping

stone to earn you money to step up to a higher level of internet marketing.

That covers the basic ways of internet business. I would just add that a host of new tools helps to automate much of

the drudge of posting and hosting, and if you can find something you are comfortable with, these tools will set you

free to explore other money making avenues on the internet. There are also forums available to discuss any problems

you may be having with other more experienced marketers.
