The most important factor when you decide to launch your product is whether you want to use a third party hosted affiliate management service or an affiliate management script which is hosted on your own website so you will need to decide which one best suits your needs.

The most popular third party hosted affiliate management service is called Click Bank because of many reasons, the most important of which is that it attracts a huge amount of affiliate marketers who are looking for products to promote on their websites and to their opt in lists.

This is a major factor when deciding how to launch your product because when you start generating sales you will appear in the marketplace where the pages are ranked by popularity using the current statistics for the most recent pay period of 16 days and the most popular products are placed at the top.

The more sales that you generate the higher up the pages you will rank and this in turn attracts more and more affiliates who are looking for the latest hot product to promote. Its important to weigh up the pros and cons before you decide whether to use Click Bank or an affiliate management script to run your affiliate program and you can always test each one out to see if its right for you.
